It’s tempting to wait for someone to tell us what to do next.
After all, we are trained all through school to wait for instructions before we proceed forward.
But then we step into the real world, and we are still waiting for instructions. Waiting for the boss to tell us what to do next. Waiting to be managed. Waiting for the light to shine a path before we take a step into the dark.
Perhaps the better approach is to step into the unknown and then wait for the light to follow.
That when we decide to start that non-profit or publish our first book or post that song you have been working on YouTube, that we don’t know what is going to happen next.
We simply are stepping into the unknown. We are leaping into the void knowing full well that the next step isn’t clear.
We fall into this bad habit of doubting our faith before doubting our doubts. Put more faith into action and see what happens next.
