The false hope is that tension will permanently go away. But the reality is, how do we deal with this tension. Because as soon as it goes away, more is to come.

I saw screenshot online that showed that Neo played by Keanu Reeves in The Matrix had a driver’s license that expired on 9/11/2001. Of course; that is just coincidence but it doesn’t stop humans from drawing a line to make a connection. The point is, for good and bad, we have no limits on the leaps we are willing to make.
It’s difficult to see in the moment if you are in a sunk cost or if you need to keep going.
The difference is understanding if the path is a dead end or if there truly is a path forward.
Means, “I am being judgy.”
When we better understand the world around us, the chance of impacting it improves.
We must first understand how things are done around here, but we don’t need to be restrained to do the same things we have always done.
Just cause a fire alarm goes off doesn’t mean there is a fire.
We are so focused on doing it the “right” way, we forget there is no right way of doing things around here.
Perhaps the better approach is embracing the “wrong” way.
No right or wrong. Just do.
What is the purpose and meaning behind all of this?
I’m not quite sure. But I do know one thing…
We keep telling the story.
We speak about disaster as in the same category as traffic jams. An inconvenience. Part of the problem today in the discourse is we don’t know how to talk about things of consequence with scale.
We think about the problems in front of us. But rarely, do we understand the problems brewing that haven’t popped their head yet. For instance, climate change was known to be a problem in the 70s. We even predicted it. But we didn’t know it was going to be an issue when we launched the industrial revolution. So, we must understand, that with every action there is a reaction.
