Kafka wrote, “I am a cage in search of a bird.”
In order for a cage to be complete, to fulfill its purpose is to have a bird to contain.
No one ever said, “I am a bird in search of a cage.”
Often, we fall into this trap of seeking security in exchange for freedom.
But that is a choice.
